Hi! I’m Andreas, a Swedish tutor from Sweden who grew up in Portugal. Living and studying in an international environment made me passionate about languages, cultures, and helping others communicate.
Teaching Swedish started informally with friends and classmates and quickly became something I truly love. I enjoy creating structured, clear, and friendly lessons where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and seeing real progress.

As a teacher, I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. I believe confidence is key when learning a new language, and my goal is to help you feel more natural and secure when using Swedish.
My lessons are structured but flexible, combining pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and conversation in a way that suits your level, goals and interests. My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I believe that learning Swedish should feel both structured and enjoyable, so I combine clear explanations with practical exercises and natural conversation.
In my lessons, we work on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and speaking skills step by step. I place special focus on pronunciation and speaking confidence, helping students feel more comfortable using Swedish in real-life situations. Lessons move at a pace that suits you, and I always make sure you understand before moving forward.

I had a great time practicing conversation with Andreas. He was easy to understand and had good conversational energy. He spent equal time asking me questions so that I could practice speaking and offering thoughts of his own so that I could practice listening. I plan to do more conversation practice with him in the future.
