Your energetic Korean friend from the heart of Hongdae! I spent my university years at Hongik University, the most vibrant and creative area in Seoul. Being surrounded by such a dynamic culture, I’ve naturally become an open-minded and talkative person who loves meeting people from different backgrounds. I’m not just here to teach; I’m here to be your Korean friend who can share the real, trendy, and artistic side of Korea with you!

Me as a Teacher

Experienced mentor for hundreds of international students. As the President of the International Student Association at Hongik University, I lived and breathed cultural exchange. I wasn't just a student leader; I was a guide, a problem-solver, and a companion for exchange students. From hosting big social events to helping friends navigate daily life in Seoul, I’ve communicated with foreigners every single day for years. This experience allows me to understand exactly where you might struggle with Korean and how to explain things in the most relatable way.

My lessons & teaching style

Comfortable, fun, and just like chatting at a cafe! Forget about boring, stiff textbooks. My lessons are all about "Real Korean." Since I've hung out with so many international friends, I know how to keep the conversation flowing and make you feel comfortable even if you make mistakes. Hongdae Vibes: We can talk about everything from K-culture and food to the latest trends in Korea. Friend-to-Friend: I’ll teach you the natural expressions that Koreans actually use, not the ones that sound like a robot. Zero Pressure: My goal is to make you feel confident. Just bring your passion, and I’ll handle the rest!
