Speak English Naturally — Travel-Tested, Culture-Curious 💚 Hi, I'm Teacher Angela, a TEFL-certified English teacher from the United States. I've taught for over nine years and have worked with students around the world in thousands of one-on-one lessons. I have a degree in Anthropology, and I love learning about culture, language, and how people really communicate. I've spent significant time living and traveling in Colombia, so cross-cultural connection and real-world English shape how I teach. Holaaaa parce, que mas pues? Todo bien? I'm also a language learner myself, so I understand how vulnerable speaking can feel. My goal is to create a calm, encouraging space where you can speak freely and grow with confidence. I'm a calm, supportive, and highly prepared teacher. I know that unstructured small talk can sometimes feel uncomfortable, so I guide each lesson with clear topics and thoughtful questions. I always come with plenty of conversation topics, so we're never stuck wondering what to talk about — you can just relax and focus on speaking. I listen carefully, take notes, and give gentle feedback without interrupting your flow. I work especially well with thoughtful learners who enjoy structure, reflection, and meaningful conversation.
