I am 34 years old. I'm from Portland, Oregon. I like writing, comics/anime, pets (especially cats), chess, and history.
I have a bachelor's degree from NYU. I graduated in 2014 with a major in Dramatic Writing. I also have a 120-hour TEFL-teaching certificate from TEFL.org. I grew up writing lots of stories, everything from science fiction to fantasy. I like to use storytelling in my lessons. I think this makes learning English more fun :)
I am almost at a B1 level in Spanish. I'm learning more every day.

I try to balance patience with structure. I use a slideshow for structure and I adapt as needed.
In our first session, I will start with questions and activities to assess your current level. Once I have a good understanding of that, I'll plan lessons that help you become more proficient in English. I like to use storytelling in my lessons.
