Ashley, 22 — Hi! I’m a French and English tutor who focuses on helping students use the language in real-life situations. My lessons are practical, conversational, and designed to build confidence quickly. We work on topics you’ll actually use: everyday conversations, travel, food, culture, work situations, and meeting new people. I combine useful grammar, vocabulary, and lots of speaking so you can express yourself naturally. My goal is to help you feel comfortable using French or English in real life, not just in textbooks. If you want dynamic lessons where you speak, learn, and gain confidence step by step, I’d be happy to help you !

Me as a Teacher

As a teacher, I strive to be both structured and understanding. I believe learning works best when students feel seen, respected, and encouraged. I take time to explain concepts clearly, adjust my approach when needed, and build trust so students can gain confidence in their abilities. Also I enjoy making friends with student and do my absolute best so they can feel comfortable. They should be totally okay with asking me questions or making mistakes.

My lessons & teaching style

I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s age, level, and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while developing confidence and understanding. It's important for me that the student practice and communicate a lot during lessons or practice. I can create a special program for your needs or have casual conversations to practice !
