✅ CTCSOL-Certified ✅ 900+ Lessons ✅ Practical & Structured Chinese ✅ HSK & Business Chinese Hello! I'm Emily, a CTCSOL-certified Mandarin teacher from Beijing. I help learners build a strong foundation in Chinese through structured and personalized lessons, improving both practical communication skills and HSK performance. I have 5+ years of teaching experience and 900+ online lessons with students worldwide. My lessons are practical, and easy to follow. Whether you are starting from zero or improving your existing Chinese skills, I will guide you step by step to build confidence in speaking, pronunciation, and everyday communication. I specialize in HSK/YCT/BCT exam preparation and help students improve through personalized plans, targeted practice, and exam strategies. In addition, I have over 20 years of experience working in multinational companies, which allows me to support learners who are interested in Business Chinese, workplace communication, and professional Chinese expressions. My lessons include: • Foundational Chinese for beginners • Daily conversation Chinese • HSK / YCT / BCT exam preparation • Practical Business Chinese (workplace communication when needed) My teaching style is clear, patient, and supportive. I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable speaking, practicing, and improving step by step. I enjoy cultural exchange and believe learning Chinese is not only about language, but also about real communication and understanding culture.

Writing this review is a bit against my own interests, since if everyone finds out how good Emily is, I'll never get a lesson slot again 😄 But she really deserves it! Great teacher. Every lesson is well prepared, she's endlessly patient, and she adapts each class to what I actually need instead of just following a textbook. Tones, characters, speaking, the full package. After just two weeks I've noticed real progress. Highly recommended for beginners, and probably for any goal given her experience.
