I’m Magnus, a 42-year-old native Swede who has lived in more than 10 places across the country. I’m married to an American and have family ties to Finland and Asia, which has given me broad cultural perspective. I run a UI/UX design company, work at IKEA, and have traveled widely in Europe and the USA, and lived in Italy. I have art training from Swedish, American, and Russian schools and enjoy thoughtful conversations about culture, creativity, society, and everyday life. My education and professional background have given me experience communicating with people across many cultures — European, Nordic, Russian, American, Arabic, Persian, and more — which enables me to adapt to different perspectives and communication styles. I had my trial lesson with Magnus and it was great! I'm a beginner (A1 level). I felt very comfortable speaking in Swedish and asking questions.
