One of the best English teachers that I've met! Jacob is a very kind, supportive and open-minded person, you feel comfortable talking to him. He asks quiestions, lets you speak, answers all your questions. Also his voice is really pleasant, which is great for this proffession I believe)

Today I had another great conversation class with Jacob, and once again, time just flew by! His lessons are always engaging and enjoyable, making it easy to forget you’re even studying. I highly recommend his classes!

First, he taught calmly, patiently and slowly so that my sister can understood well. However, maybe because of misunderstanding about each other, it was a bit wasteful to change platform to study: As we planned before we would learn through Google Meet but then turned out he did not check clearly my messages, which made me a bit disappointed. I know that it was just the trial lesson, so I had actively discussed the way the class happened but only 30 mins, it was not easy to completely discuss speaking skills. I hope we can improve next time. Thank you.

Jacob is my very first italki teacher and I still keep coming back to his lessons. With his soft manner and supportive approach, he helped me overcome the stress of 1-on-1 lessons, which was a completely new experience for me. He has a beautiful accent and a gentle voice, making everything easy to understand. Above all, Jacob impressed me as an open-minded and wise individual—we covered so many interesting topics during our lessons. I can never thank him enough for the progress I've made thanks to his guidance and encouragement.
