Hi, I'm Ece! Inshallah I am your new Turkish tutor on Italki. I am an experienced international interpreter in health tourism and I am currently doing my master's in Molecular Biotechnology. As an experienced language learner myself, I also speak German and I am learning Arabic. Connecting with people worldwide sparked a deep curiosity about how language shapes our reality. I love sharing the "aha!" moments of grammar and cultural nuances with my students, making the logic of a new language both accessible and exciting.

Me as a Teacher

With a background of molecular biotechnology and the fast-paced environment of interpreting, I bring a unique, structural perspective to language learning. I believe that anyone can master a foreign language when the underlying logic is clear. My teaching is characterized by a deep fascination with comparative linguistics; I specialize in breaking down the complex grammatical nuances between German, English, and Turkish. By highlighting the structural parallels and cultural contrasts between these three languages, I help my students move beyond simple memorization to a place of genuine, intuitive understanding. Even if you think you are not good at languages, this is for you.

My lessons & teaching style

My teaching philosophy is built on simplicity. I move away from dense, over-explained textbook theories and focus on immediate functionality. Drawing on my background in molecular biotechnology, I treat language as a logical system, stripping away the clutter to give my students the tools they can use right away. I specialize in making high-level grammar comparisons between German, English, and Turkish, helping students see the hidden patterns between these languages which is also my personal hobby! My goal is to transform complex rules into clear, intuitive insights, so you can stop overthinking and start communicating from day one.
