An excellent communicator with a constant and infectious, positive attitude. A trained, confident, competent and successful “all rounder” with an array of experiences across various countries, industries and positions. My main skill set is in effectively and efficiently building rapport, questioning the situation and its stakeholders to get to the core of something, analysing, then planning and implementing deliverable and measurable results. My personal passions center around discovery, family, friends, sports and "the great outdoors".

Me as a Teacher

I am humbled by the praise that my students have given me over the years, but feel that I have earned it due to my enthusiasm, positive attitude, lateral thinking, ability to identify areas for improvement and knack for teaching new words, concepts, ideas, English language phrases / analogies / metaphors and idioms in every session.

My lessons & teaching style

I cover the full spectrum from basic skills, to phonics, vocabulary, grammar, IELTS test preparation and business specific instruction. + We can use my large database of lesson materials to assist us. + I regularly edit translations of documents, discuss news articles and national / global / cultural issues, help with human resource issues, careers advice, and a variety of issues, such as presentations, case studies, KPI analysis, meetings, negotiation tactics / strategies, interviews, etc. + I like to use a supportive and positive approach that encourages learning without discouraging confidence. Humour, fun and open communication has always worked for me.
