Learning Korean with your bestie Hello! I’m Hyunji, your friendly Korean tutor living in Korea. I was born and raised in Korea. I majored in English! I've taught Korean in English for about a year. I love pop music (especially as a swiftie), traveling, and exploring different cultures. As a English major, I can clearly explain the subtle nuances between Korean and English. I know exactly what confused you about Korean and can explain it in English. I studied in Korea which led me to be interested in introducing Korean culture. After that, I've been a mentor to global exchange students who are coming to Korea and participated in language exchange programs. My lessons are customized to your level and interests. 💬 Natural Conversation: We will talk about topics you love (K-pop, travel, food, etc) so you never get bored. 🇰🇷 REAL Korean: I focus on expressions native speakers actually use, not awkward textbook phrases. 📒 Detailed Feedback: After every class, I provide a summary file with vocabulary, grammar corrections, and some useful tips. 👭 Safe Space: Mistakes are the best way to learn! My class is where you can speak in a comfortable atmosphere.

Hyunji was a really patient and thorough teacher! I took a trial class, and I’ve already learned so much. Even when we talked about concepts I had learned previously, Hyunji was able to explain a lot of nuance I didn’t understand before. Thank you so much! I really enjoyed my first lesson :)
