Hello!
I am a Korean teacher Sunny. I was born and raised in Korea.
I have been living in Shanghai, China, for seven years, and I plan to return to Korea this coming June.
Living abroad has helped me understand how challenging and exciting learning a new language can be.
I love learning languages myself. I speak Korean, English, and Chinese.
I studied English in Korea, and I can communicate comfortably with foreign friends.
I've learned Chinese while living in China, so I truly understand the difficulties that language learners would face.

While living in Shanghai, I made many international friends.
They were very interested in Korean culture, so I naturally started teaching them Korean.
What began as a hobby slowly became a passion.
I wanted to learn Korean teaching more deeply, so I decided to earn a Korean language teaching certificate.
Since my university days, I have had a lot of experience teaching children through part-time tutoring.
Because of this, I understand learners’ feelings very well.
I know that learning a language is not always easy.
That’s why I support you with patience and encouragement,
and I help you stay motivated and reach your goals without giving up. My lessons & teaching style
(1) For beginners, we start by learning Korean consonants and vowels and practicing correct pronunciation. With enough pronunciation practice at the beginning, students can move to the next level with confidence and improve their fluency much faster.
(2) For Intermediate, using a main textbook as a foundation, students practice basic grammar and vocabulary. By putting grammar and new words into real and useful sentences, students can feel how fun learning a language can be.
(3) For advanced learners, I focus on free conversation using a wide range of topics. Students can improve their Korean fluency while I gently correct grammar and pronunciation in a natural way.My teaching material

The teacher is very well prepared and really patient.
The teaching style feels like a good balance between structured lessons and natural conversation with a native speaker, which works well for beginners.
It’s not just rigid grammar teaching. The materials are adjusted based on the student’s level, and there are also simple, related conversations during the lesson to help practice more natural, spontaneous speaking.
