CELTA-Certified Business English & IELTS Teacher | Confidence for Professionals Hi, I'm Jaron from Boston, USA. I've been living in Hong Kong for 10 years. For five years, I taught English in both international and local schools. Shortly afterwards, I pivoted to business, working in marketing and project management at small tech startups, and trading and investing in the financial markets. I also run a tech YouTube channel called "Aldaron Hardware," reviewing niche tech products and services. Outside of work, I'm into bodybuilding, fantasy writing, writing and playing music, traveling, D&D, football and spending time with my family. Between teaching and business, I've spent years working alongside second-language English speakers. That gives me a practical understanding of how English is actually used at work. Our first lesson will begin by evaluating your English level and goals. Then we will work towards confidence and competence towards fluency in any of the following areas below: - Speaking skills for presentations, interviews, negotiations, or small talk. - Reading and vocabulary skills to understand complex business language. - Writing skills for improving grammar, editing, and proofreading. It was my second lesson with Mr. Jaron! We planned to discuss about a company’s health, but the vocabularies were very new to me and I thought I need to study more before the discussion. Then he suggested to learn another topic such as AI in today’s class and we can discuss about balance sheet next lesson. His class is very flexible and I’m learning a lot!
