I’m a student of international relations and community English tutor with many years of experience learning English, having achieved a C2 Cambridge certification. Alongside my studies, I work as an online tutor, helping students practice and improve their language skills. I enjoy reading a wide variety of works: from argentine history books, to english poetry, all the way to Stephen King's many works.

Me as a Teacher

As a tutor, I focus on helping students feel comfortable using the language. I work with learners who want to improve speaking, writing, grammar, and listening, and I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and goals. I aim to provide clear explanations, guided practice, and steady progress in a supportive environment.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are personalized and practice-focused. Whether students want to improve spoken English, prepare for an exam, or work on business English, lessons are adapted to their needs. Activities may include guided conversations, structured discussions, reading practice, simple dramatization, and focused grammar work. I have no qualms correcting my students on the fly, as I believe this kind of "live correction" works wonders on a student's capabilities. The use of homework and out of class activities as a resource depend mainly on the time students have available. Should the student be open to it, I also enjoy using literary works to enrich my lessons.

Further helped on the writing of the Pre-Electoral Report (mostly regarding political context) of the Electoral Observation Mission sent to Colombia's Legislative and Presidential Elections.
