My name is Alexandre. Greek is my native language. I graduated from secondary education in Greece (Apolytirion) and completed higher education in France at the master’s level in Fine Arts and Social Sciences. I collaborate with students wishing to acquire, maintain, or deepen their practice of Greek, whether for professional, academic, research, or personal reasons, or simply as part of their daily life. I am a native speaker: Greek is not a language I learned as a foreign language, but one I use on a daily basis, both in my personal life and in my work. I studied and lived in Greece, which allows me to stay in constant contact with the evolution of the language as well as with contemporary cultural transformations, which I fully integrate into my teaching. My relationship to Greek is rooted in its current uses. I place great importance on incorporating materials drawn from contemporary culture (cultural references, music, movies) in order to foster learning that is as close as possible to real communication contexts. In addition, I have experience in text translation, as well as in proofreading and supporting the writing and editing of application files and scholarship proposals for universities.
