Hi! I’m a language lover from Hong Kong, currently residing in Tokyo. I speak Cantonese, English and Mandarin. Last year I passed my Japanese N2 exam, and have started my language journey on Italian.
I have lived in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai and now Tokyo.
If it is new language for travel/ daily life, my conversational-based lessons will be a fit.
If it is new language for work, my background is in marketing and e-commerce in MNCs over the past 12 years. I understand exactly what that takes—and I’d love to help.

My teaching style is friendly, flexible, and practical.
I focus on helping you build confidence in real-life situations, whether that’s chatting with locals, fitting into a new workplace, or preparing for a move abroad.
I am not a textbook-style rigid learner, so besides grammar textbook, I also use a specialized "100 topics of daily spoken chinese" for my lesson. You will be able to actually speak the local language & slangs!
I am a person with positive energy and I hope your language journey is full of encouragement and fun, while still pushing your limits! My lessons & teaching style
Practical practical.
Each lesson will start with a chit-chat session to warm up your conversation skills,
Followed by
1) grammar-based structured textbook learning for beginners;
2) either daily conversation based practice; or discussion based news/ topic format for intermediate learners;
3) ending with a homework briefing which usually involve simple composition (optional)

If you are looking for a Mandarin tutor who actually listens to your needs, tiffany is the best choice. She is so adaptable and always makes sure we are covering the topics that matter most to me, even if we have to pivot mid-lesson. I love how practical her teaching style is—we avoid dry drills and instead focus on conversational practice that feels natural and engaging. This focus on dialogue has made the language feel much more accessible and less intimidating. I’ve seen more progress in my speaking ability with her than with any other method I’ve tried!
