I'm a certified English language instructor with over a decade of experience, specializing in exam preparation (Cambridge/IELTS certifications) and business English for Italian professionals. A native of the UK, I've been living and teaching in Italy since 2012, with particular expertise in adapting British English instruction to the Italian cultural context. My professional focus combines academic methodology with practical, real-world application—particularly valuable for students preparing for international examinations or professional advancement. Since 2012 I've been teaching English in Italy, initially teaching classes of students from the ages of 4 to 16, then adults and high school students preparing for the Pearson test of English at the Power School of English, Ortona.
In 2020 I started teaching online for various platforms, specialising in Exam preparation, business English skills and conversation classes. I still work locally for different schools and businesses that need specialised English tuition.
I hold the TEFL 120hr certificate and have had many success stories that make me very proud.
Primarily I teach English to Italians, my level of Italian is around B2/C1, but I have, and welcome, students from all around the world My lessons & teaching style
My methods are based on building your confidence to speak English, developing your listening skills so you can understand English and helping you understand the grammar rules of the English language.
Why in this way? Because generally my students have the best results when they are able to speak in English as soon as possible. Then, once you can converse in English and understand simple conversation you can develop all your language skills very quickly.
However if your needs are more grammar based that's no problem and I can focus the lessons on whatever is most important to you.My teaching material
