Fourat has been a blessing, having had failed attempts at learning Arabic in the past, my confidence and understanding at beginner level has improved massively in just two weeks! He follows a text book and as a practiced linguist and tutor builds on the materials with his own exercises and explanations. Fourat has a knack for explaining language in a way that is easy to understand and grasp but is also very patient and understanding when I make mistakes. He uses the right balance of examples so that they are clear and useful for my level but not overwhelming. He is always prepared for the lesson and shares all the materials covered and some additional ones. He is a natural conversationalist and the lessons flow easily, I look forward to continuing my learning with Fourat and highly recommend a block of classes with him!

2 weeks of lessons with Fourat and I have learned so much! I hardly knew any Arabic two weeks ago and over this time we've covered greetings, basic conversations, lots of verbs, family members, basic verb conjugations (present, past, -ing verbs), difficult pronunciations, possessive nouns and basic conversations. Fourat's a super smart tutor with a great sense of humor. Really interesting person and enjoyable to talk with. He's great at giving easy to understand explanations and gives homework that's easy to fit into your personal schedule (so that when you're studying on your own you don't have to worry about, "what should I be studying now?"). Fourat has far exceeded my expectations! In addition to being well prepared, organized, and reliable, he has a great sense of humor and great communication skills. He also has a strong understanding of language acquisition and how to gauge the material to meet the individual learner’s needs. His explanations and practice exercises have been very helpful, and he has a knack for giving enough information to satisfy my curiosity without overwhelming me. I highly recommend him.

I have been taking weekly lesson with Fourat for 2.5 months now. He is an excellent instructor, very patient and engaging. We have been doing a combination of conversation practice, as well as structured lessons. He is easy to talk to and always has interesting topics to discuss. He gives great feedback on pronunciation and grammar, in a way that is easy to comprehend. He provides materials and regular homework to practice at home. During this short time, I have noticed a big improvement in my understanding of Lebanese Arabic, and I have been able to engage in more conversation with family.
