This is YOUR class, I want you to enjoy it. Learning Italian, of course! Hi everyone, I am Andrea, and I would love to help you learn Italian and English. My lessons are flexible, I usually have conversations with the student, but I am open to other topics, such as grammar, writing practice, reading, and vocabulary. If needed, I can send you materials in the language you are learning, such as homework, YouTube videos, articles to read, etc. I have been teaching for more than a year on Italki, and I have loved helping my students learn these languages and getting to know a little more about their cultures. I didn't expect to learn so much from my students, and I am grateful for that. During my experience teaching on Italki, I have learned how to assist my students best by getting to know their needs and helping them reach their goals. I am very supportive as a teacher, and I try my best to keep the lesson going smoothly and in a pleasant atmosphere. I am also open to helping my students outside the class. Many of my students send me texts to correct during the week to improve their writing skills, and I am happy to help them. During the trial/first lesson, we will usually talk about your level, needs, and goals to have a clear path in mind. Depending on your level, we can either do a conversation class or a more structured class based on grammar and exercises. I have been learning Italian with Andrea almost weekly since March 2021 and I have to remind myself I have come quite a long way since my very first lesson with Andrea when I knew just a few words. I always enjoy my lessons with him as he makes it fun to learn Italian and gives me the incentive and motivation to keep going - I just wish I had started years ago instead of at 60!
