Konnichiwa! I’m Reika, a professional Japanese language teacher with 9 years of experience. I am passionate about helping students bridge the gap between "studying" Japanese and actually "speaking" it. In my free time, I enjoy visiting local cafes and trying new foods. I also like traveling and watching movies or dramas occasionally. I believe that sharing these everyday interests makes our lessons more relatable and helps you learn natural Japanese used in real-life situations. I bring 8 years of extensive teaching experience from Japanese language schools in Poland and Singapore, where I taught both in-person and online, covering both group and individual lessons. For the past year, I have focused exclusively on online education. Having taught students from diverse backgrounds and levels, I am highly adaptable and patient. My goal is to create a structured yet encouraging environment where you feel comfortable learning Japanese :) My lessons are highly organized and tailored to your specific goals. I primarily use well-known textbooks such as "Genki," "Marugoto," or "Irodori" to provide a solid foundation in grammar and practical communication. For conversation practice, I prepare a wide variety of topics to ensure our time together is both fun and engaging. Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together!
