Friendly Native Japanese Teacher | Conversation & Travel Japanese Hello! My name is Arute Yamauchi. I was born in Japan and enjoy connecting with people from different cultures through the Japanese language. I have traveled to all 47 prefectures in Japan, so I can share not only textbook Japanese but also real Japanese used in daily life and tips for communicating naturally in Japan. I enjoy sports such as snowboarding and baseball, so we can also practice Japanese through conversations about hobbies and interests. I am also learning English and Spanish, so I understand the challenges of language learning. In my lessons, I create a relaxed environment where mistakes are welcome. Let’s practice daily Japanese and travel conversation together! I believe it is important to create an environment where students feel comfortable speaking. In language learning, speaking without being afraid of mistakes is essential. In my lessons, I create a relaxed atmosphere so students can naturally use Japanese. My teaching style is mainly conversation-based. I help students learn Japanese they can actually use in daily life, including natural expressions used by native speakers. Since I am also learning languages, I understand how frustrating it can be when words don’t come out. That’s why we review mistakes and practice better expressions together. Arute is a teacher that allows you to speak first and say what you want to say and correcting only after you attempted to say what was desired to say. This learning method is very useful, as it lets me find where my limit is, pushing it further, slowly removing loose threads. He also repeated the phrases and slowed down when I didn't understand, proving he is aware of the mistakes being made, nevertheless still encouraging me as the learner. Would book another lesson :) .
