Hi, I’m Anja, a native German speaker from northern Germany. I worked as a physiotherapist for 8 years, gaining experience with all age groups. About 11 years ago, I started traveling the world, living in Australia, New Zealand, and the Cook Islands. I later worked on a cruise ship and explored Europe and the Middle East. Today, I live in British Columbia, Canada, where I manage a watersports center in summer and work as a kitesurf instructor in Mexico during winter.

Me as a Teacher

I’m a patient, caring, and open-minded teacher who enjoys working with people from different backgrounds and ages. My experience living in many countries helps me understand the challenges of learning a new language. I focus on creating a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking and improving. I especially enjoy helping learners build confidence and communicate naturally in real-life situations.

My lessons focus on practical, real-life German. I help you speak naturally like locals do, not just follow textbook rules. We work on pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and real conversations. I adapt each lesson to your level and goals, whether you’re traveling, working, or just learning for fun. My aim is to make learning engaging, useful, and enjoyable while helping you gain confidence quickly.
