Hello there! My name is Leo and I am 28 years old. I was born in Peru and grew up in Germany ever since I was 5. Having a bilingual and bicultural background, I have developed a strong interest in languages and cultures. I am really grateful that I was able to turn my passion into my job! Outside of teaching languages I enjoy learning new things every day by watching documentaries or going to museums. Furthermore I love travelling, cooking and attending concerts and live music. I hold a master’s degree in Cultural Studies with a focus on Latin America. For my bachelor’s degree, I studied English and Spanish and spent a semester abroad in both Wales and Spain. I have been tutoring for over ten years and have helped students with both English and Spanish. I also have one year of experience as a German teacher for the DAAD at the Federal University of Ceará in Fortaleza, Brazil. I have over 10 years of experience in tutoring, particularly in English and Spanish. My teaching style is based on interacting with students as equals, which makes the lessons engaging. I want to leverage the fact that I speak three languages at a native level and use my knowledge of them to draw comparisons with German, which helps with comprehension.
