Hi, I’m Duru! I learned English at 8 years old after moving to a new country while also learning German, so I know exactly what it feels like to start from zero and build confidence step by step! Today, English is part of my everyday life, both personally and professionally, through working in international environments and with global clients. I don’t just understand English, I understand how people actually use it in real conversations. If you’ve ever felt like you understand English but don’t sound like yourself yet, let me help you change that!

Me as a Teacher

I’m not a traditional teacher. My focus is helping you speak clearly and confidently, not memorise rules. Because I’ve learned languages myself, I quickly understand where you’re stuck and how to fix it in a way that actually makes sense. I also have experience teaching kids in one on one settings, which taught me patience, clarity, and adaptability. My lessons are a space where you can speak freely, make mistakes, and improve without pressure while still making real progress. :)

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are conversation focused but always structured with intention. I love working with small stories and real life situations, because that is how language actually sticks. I will always ask what you need. Are you learning for a holiday, for work, or just for yourself? We go deeper based on that. We work on speaking, pronunciation, and vocabulary so you sound natural and confident. Every lesson is tailored to you, honest, practical, and focused on real improvement.
