I am a political scientist and have been working in digital services for many years. Languages have always been a passion of mine, and I speak several myself. So I know both the joy and the challenges of learning a new language. You might notice a slight Rhineland accent now and then – but that only adds a bit of warmth. And honestly: anyone learning German already has my respect.

Me as a Teacher

I am not a professional teacher, but I am used to explaining complex things clearly and patiently. Language has always been one of my most important tools, and I know how to use it well. I always come to lessons prepared and work in a structured, systematic way – while still staying flexible and spontaneous when needed. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, make steady progress, and enjoy the process of learning German.

My lessons & teaching style

In my lessons, we’ll focus on topics that genuinely interest you. I’ll encourage you to speak as much as possible — which may sound a little scary at first, but it’s the best way to improve. Don’t worry about making mistakes or feeling embarrassed: creating a relaxed atmosphere and helping you gain confidence is an important part of my teaching style.
