Friendly Native Japanese Tutor 6+ Years of Teaching Experience Hello! My name is Rei. I am a native Japanese speaker from Tokyo, Japan. And I currently live in Australia with my Australian partner. I have experience working as a Japanese tutor in Victoria, Australia, where I taught around 10 local students through private lessons. At university, I completed teacher training courses and gained over 6 years of experience teaching students of different ages and levels as a cram school tutor. I also help my Australian partner learn Japanese in our daily life, which has given me valuable experience explaining Japanese in simple, practical, and easy-to-understand ways. I love meeting new people and sharing Japanese language and culture. Through my lessons, I hope more people will think: “Japanese is fun!” “I want to visit Japan!” “I want to learn more about Japanese culture!” As someone who is currently learning English and living abroad, I understand both the challenges and excitement of learning a new language. My goal is to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and building confidence. Lessons can be tailored to your goals, whether you are learning Japanese for travel, conversation, work, or personal interest.
