Learn English through immersion with an SLP student Hi! I am Rachael, a native English speaker and proud Philadelphian! I love all things language- teaching and learning! I am a Speech and Language Pathology student working on my master's degree, and a second language learner. I was able to use my unique clinical and academic background to support my own language learning. I would love to do the same for you! I combine my firsthand experience learning another language with evidenced-based clinical language teaching strategies to provide effective and engaging language instruction. Years of experience providing clinical language therapy has shaped my teaching style. I teach through immersion and targeted modeling, and use materials and content highly motivating to each individual student. I aim to provide a space to learn and make mistakes without stress. Communication is about connection- not perfection!
