That’s why I can’t wait to help you learning and improving your Italian!,Hello there! My name is Maria, I am Italian and I currently live in Naples, in Southern Italy. I have recently graduated in International Relations. I focused my studies on African-American political tradition, so I am continuing my research with a PhD in Portugal. I have always desired to speak many languages, to find alternative ways to improve my linguistic skills, beyond the boring and sometimes useless methodologies offered by the educational system. When I started travelling, I noticed the big gap between the static language I learnt at school and the kaleidoscopic one I heard in the real world. This experience made me understand the importance of human interaction when it comes to learn a language. I studied English and French at school and at university too, but I really understood those languages when I practiced them with native speakers. I moved to London in 2008 and I spent the whole summer there, I went to school in the morning and to work in the afternoon. I did the same thing in Belgium. I went over there thanks to the Eramsus Program, and I stayed for six months. I was part of the language exchange group, so I had the chance to improve my French and my English too. During the past two years I taught Italian to migrants from North Africa, most of them were very beginners. My job was to help them for the Italian language test. It was a very exciting experience. So I am available for everyone who wants to start learning Italian, to prepare for a language certificate, or just to practice. I can offer language and grammar lessons, but also tutoring for exams, tests, certificates and conversation practice. I am also available for anyone who just wants to practice some English speaking.
