International Teaching Experience | Early Year Educator | Trilingual Tutor (CHN, ENG, JPN) Hello! I'm Yixuan from Shanghai, currently working in early childhood education in Edinburgh, Scotland. I have a deep passion for languages; besides my native Chinese, I have self-studied and can speak Japanese fluently, while I also use English proficiently in my work and daily life. I love life and enjoy exploring. In my free time, I love city walks, watching movies, and travelling. One of my favourite things about travelling is meeting new friends and exchanging language and cultural stories with them. I firmly believe that learning a language is not just about communication; it's about opening the door to a different way of thinking. My teaching experience is quite diverse. While in Shanghai, I worked for a Japanese company, specifically guiding Japanese colleagues in learning Chinese. I understand the challenges that native Japanese speakers face when learning Chinese pronunciation and grammar. Currently, I work as a kindergarten teacher in the UK, focusing on integrating Chinese education into daily activities, sparking children's interest in Chinese through songs, holiday displays, and fun interactions. Additionally, I also work as a Chinese conversation partner in my spare time, helping adults of various levels practice authentic daily conversation and business expressions.
