Hi! My name is Takanao, and I’m a Japanese artist!!
I’m a traveling bath artist and the founder of a unique project called MOBILESENTO. I built a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath and sauna on a truck and traveled across the United States, sharing Japanese culture with many people.
I spent about two years living in Canada and the U.S., experiencing different cultures and lifestyles. Inspired by the movie “Forrest Gump,” I drove along Route 66 last year with my project, meeting people and creating connections through conversation.
As a student, I traveled to 47 countries as a backpacker. I enjoy talking about culture, travel, and real life in Japan.
