I am Angela, I've been teaching Italian online for six years and hold a CEDILS certification from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. I earned a Master’s degree in Visual and Media Studies from Roma Tre University and spent several years abroad, an experience that deepened my passion for foreign languages and cultures. My teaching method was born from this journey, grounded in direct experience and active student engagement, aiming to develop practical communication skills that can be immediately applied in everyday life.

I actively encourage the building of new skills through experience and involvement in real-life scenarios, appreciating the uniqueness of each student. My lessons & teaching style
My method is based on using diversified stimuli to facilitate the developing of fresh, rich and deep mental associations. After each lesson, I'll send a review to recap what we covered, with emerged key words that will be revisited in future lessons. I integrate grammar into real-life language situations, by immersing students in the language and providing them with many opportunities to use it in a more natural and intuitive way. While spontaneous conversation is a key component of language learning, it's not enough on its own. Therefore, I employ targeted prompts and create scenarios to challenge my students' knowledge, reinforcing their understanding of the italian language and culture.My teaching material

Angela is a truly excellent teacher - she takes time to get to know you, tailors the lessons to your strengths and development areas, and without fail she makes each lesson interesting, memorable and fun. Before learning with Angela, I'd done a few group classes (including an intensive course in Perugia). When it came to practising speaking, there was never much time in the group to try and improve (particularly for one of the less confident and more reserved people in the group as I often was!) and I was becoming increasingly frustrated that I never seemed to make much progress with the spoken language. This all changed when I started lessons with Angela. I've really improved my confidence and I have much more opportunity to improve in a single lesson than I ever got in a term's worth of classes. If you're in a similar position to me, then I absolutely recommend you start lessons with Angela - you won't regret it!
