Struggling with high-context communication in Japanese business settings? Learn practical Japanese for negotiation, business writing, and workplace communication so you can avoid misunderstandings and build stronger professional relationships. I have worked with U.S., Japanese, and international executives, and I am pursuing an MBA in the U.S. I help professionals navigate real-world Japanese communication, especially in business writing, negotiation, and cross-cultural situations. My background in intercultural communication and business strategy helps students understand not only the language itself, but also the logic, context, and cultural nuance behind Japanese communication styles. This lesson may be helpful if you have questions about real workplace situations, such as negotiation styles, indirect feedback, business emails, polite refusals, or communication expectations in Japanese companies. Have you ever wondered: - “What did they really mean?” - “Was this a polite refusal?” - “How should I reply professionally?” I can help you understand both the language and the cultural context behind these situations. Course examples: Kentō shimasu / Keigo / Aizuchi / Small Talk / Indirect Responses Outside of business, I love traveling and have visited 27 countries and more than 120 cities. I also enjoy singing and sharing fun insights into Japanese karaoke culture. Let’s explore how Japanese professionals actually think and communicate in real business situations.
