Hello! I'm Elisa. I'm originally from Berlin, but I currently split my time between Germany and Spain. When I'm not teaching, I love to travel, hike, read, dance, spend time with my child, or meet people from different cultures. For me, life is all about learning new things, and I would love to share that joy with you as we explore German together. I've been teaching German for ten years and have had the pleasure of working with children, teenagers, and adults in Hamburg, Sweden, and Spain. As an elementary school teacher in Hamburg, I really enjoyed being surrounded by the natural curiosity and energy of the kids. During my internship in Sweden, I taught German to teenagers and focused on finding creative methods to engage and motivate them. For the past three years, I've been teaching German online to adults. What I enjoy most is getting to know each individual, understanding their goals, and helping them improve their German in a way that suits them best. In our lessons, you'll be speaking most of the time – because practice makes perfect! I make it a point to explain grammar in an easy-to-understand way, even when it seems complicated. While you speak, I take notes and then provide you with clear feedback so you can recognize your progress and areas for improvement.
