A Fun Swahili Community tutor who loves to travel, learn new things and connect with people. Habari! Jina langu ni Maryaquinas, a native Kiswahili speaker from Moshi in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania. I am currently exploring out beautiful planet, so I love helping others learn the language to connect with new places and people. Whether you're a total beginner or brushing up, we'll go at your pace and get you speaking with confidence. Karibu sana! Teaching and connecting in Kiswahili with others is a real joy for me. In my professional career as a pharmacist I led teams and trained new staff, so explaining clearly and patiently is second nature to me. I also learned German not long ago and as a fellow language learner and traveler, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. Make all the mistakes you want in my lessons. That's how you learn. Tell me why you want to learn - a trip to Zanzibar, a safari, family, friends, work, or just pure curiosity and I'll plan around that for you. Most of the lesson is actual talking, and I explain grammar simply, only when you need it. Maryaquinas is a great Swahili teacher! I learn a lot in every lesson, and the lessons are always fun. We laugh a lot and I always enjoy our time together.
