Certified Language Instructor (C2) & Business Coach From Classroom to Career — German That Actually Works I'm Jan, a language educator and communication coach based in Augsburg, Germany. With a Bachelor of Education (University of Augsburg), 2,500+ hours of group instruction, and 500+ hours of 1:1 coaching, I know exactly what separates textbook German from the German you need at work. My students are doctors, engineers, project managers, financial advisors, and consultants who needed to lead meetings, write emails, and hold their own in fast German conversations. They did it in months, not years. As founder of a community on Skool, I've also built structured learning paths beyond the 1:1 session — so your progress doesn't stop between lessons. My approach: Metacognitive strategies: you'll learn how to learn German, not just vocabulary lists — so your progress continues outside our sessions Industry-relevant language: we work with the vocabulary, structures, and communication norms of your field — not generic textbook scenarios Language in context: insights from linguistics and neuroscience show that grammar sticks when it's embedded in real situations — so that's how we train it Who this is for: English-speaking professionals living or working in Germany who want to communicate confidently in German within 6 months — at work, with colleagues, and in daily life. 📍 Based in Augsburg | 🇩🇪 Native-level German | 🎓 Certified Coach (ICF) | Cambridge C2 English
