I have been taking lessons with James for about nine months, and he is by far the most patient and understanding teacher I’ve ever had. Even though it’s taking me some time to fully grasp certain concepts in the Romanian language, James always supports me by revisiting topics and providing multiple examples to ensure I understand them. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Romanian and gain excellent practice.

James has a very friendly and open personality which makes for a very lively and enjoyable conversation. He's easy to talk to, and the perfectly paced lesson suits the needs of the student and contributes to a pleasant and valuable experience.

The lesson is fascinating. Throughout the lesson, I was able to speak a lot and the teacher helped me understand the use of the correct grammatical forms in the context of the translated text. Even difficult and boring grammatical issues become interesting this way.

James is incredibly knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining complex ideas from different angles, making everything easy to understand. Lessons are always fun, and it's great to chat with him about current worldwide events.

An exciting lesson. Explaining grammatical issues based on the actual use of grammatical structures in real sentences is a highly effective teaching method.
