Certified Korean teacher | Speak comfortably, improve visibly Do you understand Korean but freeze when it's time to speak? I help beginner and intermediate learners turn quiet knowledge into real conversation. 안녕하세요! 만나서 반갑습니다. I'm Lauren, a certified Korean teacher based in Malaysia. Ever had a teacher who corrected every mistake until you were afraid to speak? Or one who never corrected anything, so you never improved? My graduate research is about that exact balance: when to help, and when to simply listen. You deserve both a comfortable space AND real progress. 편안하게, 그리고 확실하게. 🎓 What I bring: - Government-certified Korean Language Teacher (Level 2) / 국가공인 한국어교원 2급 - Master's studies in Korean language education, focused on effective feedback - 1.5+ years of one-on-one teaching experience 📜 How my lessons work: - Clear goals from day one. In your trial lesson, we talk about why you're learning Korean and what you want to achieve, and I build the lessons around your goals. - All materials are prepared by me and included. Customized slides, worksheets, and review notes. No textbook purchase needed. - You speak from the very first lesson. 실수는 언제나 환영이에요! Mistakes show us exactly what to work on next. - You'll see your progress: what you couldn't say before, and what you can say now. I'm from Seoul and now live in Malaysia, so I know what living between languages feels like. My job is to make Korean achievable, one conversation at a time. 시작이 반이다! Book a trial lesson and let's take that first step together! 🎉
