I come from a Mexican-American family. Both my parents spoke fluent Spanish but never taught me to speak it. As an adult I have taught myself Spanish and I have also started to learn Italian as well. I would be happy to help you on your journey of learning English. I work in a hospital laboratory and have also kept side jobs as a dance instructor and a massage therapist. I enjoy playing the guitar and riding bicycle and would be happy to talk to you about your life and adventures. Thanks! The best way to learn languages is to immerse yourself by listening to podcasts, reading books and watching videos and then coming here on italki to speak. Language is communication and if you can get your ideas across then you can speak the language. I don’t rely too much on grammar or corrections but would be happy to help you there as well if you’d like. It’s all about conversation. We can talk about any subject big or small. Learning a new language should be fun and it’s never too late to start!
