Helping Adults Speak English with Confidence Hi! I'm Tamires, a Brazilian English teacher with over 10 years of experience helping adult learners improve their English from beginner to advanced levels. Throughout my career, I've focused on creating engaging and practical lessons designed specifically for adults, helping them build confidence in real-life communication. I especially enjoy using authentic materials, such as video clips, news articles, and other real-world content, to make lessons more dynamic, relevant, and connected to how English is actually used. My international experiences have also shaped my teaching style. I studied abroad in London and have traveled to the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Argentina, which gave me valuable insights into different cultures and the different ways people use English around the world. When I'm not teaching, I love reading, studying, watching movies and TV series, and listening to music. I'm also currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and Learning, which helps me better understand how adults learn and allows me to create more effective and engaging lessons for my students.
