From podcasts to YouTube: real Japanese, not just textbooks! Fun lessons at your pace♡ Hi, I'm Amy, originally from Tokyo, Japan. I've lived in the UK and Australia for a total of four years. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, meditation, reading, and spending time in nature. Even with that time abroad, I taught myself English almost entirely on my own, and I'm still studying every day. Because of that, I understand both the challenges and the small joys of learning a new language. What I'm best at is creating a space that feels fun and safe. When it comes to enjoying lessons together and building a real connection with my students, I won't lose to anyone. I have a young child myself, so I love chatting with parents about the ups and downs of raising kids too. In lessons, we'll explore real, living Japanese through podcasts, YouTube, TV shows, music, and news, which is the kind of Japanese you won't find in a textbook. I'll respect your pace and we'll move forward together, step by step. I can also explain things in English.
