Learn Spanish with a NATIVE teacher with 11 years experience 👋Hi! I'm Rebecca — a native Spanish speaker from Spain. I also speak english natively as I grew up between Spain and the UK, so these aren't just languages I teach — they are my mother tongue, the language I think in, talk in, and feel in. 🌍I have spent over 11 years teaching (in Rise Language Lab), alongside work in various language schools in Spain. I have taught children, beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, adults and professionals — very different profiles, with very different starting points. ✏️I have also completed a Training Course in active methodologies for game-based and creative teaching, undertaken in the Netherlands. I find this approach particularly effective in keeping students motivated and making progress feel natural rather than forced. 🧠What I enjoy most about this work is exactly this: every person learns differently, and finding the way Spanish works for them is a challenge that never gets old. 🗣️As a native Spanish speaker, I bring the real language — not the textbook version. I teach the Spanish people actually use: natural expressions, regional nuance, the way grammar feels rather than just how it is explained. 📚However, my experience and current job in language academies also allows me to provide students the resources and materials that they need to learn the grammar, theory and explanations behind each word, sentence and idiom. I was very impressed with Rebeca. She focuses in on errors when you speak but finds the right balance, for me anyway of letting you express yourself and then helping you make it more natural in Spanish. For new learners - be aware her English when she explains things in English is remarkable. Her accent in English is practically native. I enjoyed my lesson with her and will quite possibly learn with her again in the future. Good teacher.
