I contacted Ylona for an instant lesson to practice my listening and speaking skills. I found her to be a very encouraging instructor. She created an atmosphere that made speaking inviting, and I wanted to listen more to what she had to say about her thoughts on the world and life in Cameroon. We flowed very easily through an hour of english at french conversation that was challenging enough for my learning needs but not so difficult that I felt awkward. Her French was also quite easy for me to understand as someone at a beginner-intermediate level, and she was more than happy to repeat (or to translate and then repeat) where I struggled.
