Certified TEFL teacher with over 10 years of experience Hello! I’m Lauren, a certified TEFL teacher with 10+ years of experience helping students (ages 3–65!) master English. Based in Colorado, I blend my love for culture, art, and nature into dynamic lessons. Fluent in Spanish and conversational Chinese, I understand language-learning challenges firsthand. Whether you’re preparing for interviews, exploring American humor, or just starting out, let’s make learning fun and stress-free—because laughter is the best grammar rule! I have been teaching English for over 10 years now. I have taught students from age 3- 65 years old. I believe that anyone no matter how young or old can learn a language if they find the correct method and teacher for them. I like to provide a relaxed teaching environment. If we are relaxed and having fun learning, retaining information will come. I love to laugh so be prepared to have a good time in my class! For new English learners I feel that starting with the past tense is helpful. We are constantly talking about what happened in the past. I also help to prepare students for job interviews, teach about American culture, etiquette and American humor. No matter what level you are the most imp...

I like Lauren so much! 60 minutes went so fast, like water. She is very kind and patient. She has the materials we will use during class. Before the class ended, she told me the subject for the next class. I liked this because I can read what the next class will be.
