Hi and welcome
I have taught a few hundred lessons online at this point. My profile video is not quite up to date but the guiding principles behind my teaching remain the same.
Personal interests of mine are reading, traveling, sports, financial markets, and of course languages. I have many projects running in parallel and try to plan each day around what's the most important and urgent to work on.
LINK: In my introduction video, I mention an article I wrote. Here's the link:
I published my first book in august:
Me as a Teacher
Professionally I have a Master's degree in psychology. Before teaching online, I taught both Danish, English, and German in the Danish school system.
I focus on finding a balance between giving feedback and keeping the conversation going. This I believe optimizes the learning situation.
Regarding booking of lessons feel free to just message me as my calendar is not always up to date and it is usually easier to arrange in writing.
My lessons & teaching style
With the danish language, it is often the case that students will progress quicker in terms of vocabulary than intonation and accent. Therefore I often focus on pronunciation and rhythm in my lessons and this is where my students feel I make a difference as a teacher.
As I explain in my video introduction, I have helped students with all aspects of their learning. My classes are fully flexible depending on what you want as a student. The focus of lessons could for example be:
-Working on your written English
-Working on your comprehension
-Preparation for standardized testing
Since the needs of students are very individual, I have only listed one type of class.

I'm studying Danish with Simon to get ready for my PD2 exam. I found him a well-prepared and friendly teacher with an excellent grasp of both Danish and English languages. His deep understanding of the grammar has helped me to get improved in writing and reading. In contrast to many other teachers, he's good at explaining and clarifying fundamental language rules, which is critical for learning a complex language like Danish. My classes with Simon were fun and efficient, especially that he's quick at writing notes during the class helping the student to review important points later on. I'm very happy to have met Simon and will continue my classes with him even after the exam.

4 Danish lessons
I have enjoyed my first couple of lessons with Simon very much, though I am a beginner and I have much to learn about this challenging topic. Simon has both given me conversational experience and explanations. His knowledge of English grammar is helpful. He has also provided me with useful tips and detailed information on how to pronounce Danish words, and he has shared with me some helpful study materials. Mange tak, Simon. Vi ses snart.

1 Danish lesson
Simon is an excellent teacher, very attuned to his students’ abilities, and able to create an environment where I could employ and improve my Danish speaking skills in the safety of our one-on-one session.

1 Danish lesson
Simon is very friendly. We had a basic conversation, and he analysed everything I said. At the end of the lesson he gave me his feedback and gave me points to work on.
