Experienced Native English Teacher | Friendly, Engaging Lessons Hello! My name is Tom, and I’m an American English teacher with approximately five years of combined in-person and online teaching experience, primarily in Thailand. I help intermediate English learners speak more naturally, build their vocabulary, and feel more confident communicating in English. **My background:** * Bachelor of Science in Psychology * TESOL certification * Experience teaching in universities, language institutes, government organizations, and through private tutoring * Experience teaching both children and adults **What I can help you with:** * Conversational English and fluency * Pronunciation and natural-sounding English * Expanding your vocabulary * Building confidence when speaking * Developing practical, real-world communication skills I particularly enjoy working with intermediate learners who want to move beyond simply knowing English and become more comfortable actually using it. My background in psychology has also taught me that every learner is different, so I tailor my lessons to your needs, interests, and goals. My lessons are practical, relaxed, and supportive, with plenty of opportunities for you to speak. I’m always happy to use your interests as a starting point for conversation and to make lessons relevant to your everyday life. Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, cinema, yoga, and, like many people, trying to keep my Wordle streak alive! I look forward to helping you reach your English goals.

Très accueillant et bienveillant. Il essaie vraiment de comprendre ce que je voulais exprimer et cherche les bons mots. J'aime bien sa présence rassurante. C'était mon premier cours d'essai et je suis débutante

I really enjoyed the class with Tom. He's a very nice person and explains everything clearly, so it's easy to follow him even when the topic is difficult. I felt comfortable asking questions, and I learned a lot. I'm looking forward to the next class.

I highly recommend this teacher. He is a great listener with a warm, approachable personality. Apart from high‑quality, professional English teaching, he is able to respond to my personal questions with wisdom from his broad life experience. Talking with him really helps calm my nerves and relieve my anxiety.
