Hospitality English Specialist | English for Chefs, Food Service & Tourism I help hospitality professionals build the practical English they need to communicate at work and manage everyday life abroad — through real workplace situations, useful vocabulary and everyday communication. I'm Lauren, a TEFL-certified English tutor from the west of Ireland with 3 years of experience teaching adults online and over 15 years of professional hospitality experience. Before becoming an English teacher, I worked in hospitality and studied Professional Cookery and Food Safety. I understand the pace, terminology and communication challenges of busy kitchens, restaurants and other hospitality environments. In my lessons, you can work on: • Kitchen & workplace communication • Speaking with colleagues and managers • Customer service & guest communication • Understanding instructions • Hospitality vocabulary & natural expressions • Hospitality job interviews • English for working and living abroad My lessons are practical, structured and supportive, with plenty of speaking practice, role-plays and realistic workplace situations adapted to your level and goals. Outside teaching, I enjoy food, cooking and travel, and I'm learning Italian myself, so I understand what it feels like to communicate in another language. I also love spending time outdoors and going for walks with my dog, Hudson.
