Luxembourgisch from zero for English speakers! Beginners welcomed :) I am Cam, and I teach Luxembourgish online. My communicative methodology emphasizes active speaking, clear grammar explanations, and customized lesson plans tailored to your specific goals. I view teaching as one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling pursuits out there, which also inspired me to establish a charitable foundation focused on teaching math and science to students in developing nations. Exploring the world is a huge part of who I am, whether that means traveling to new continents or indulging in my favorite pastimes like sailing, fine art collecting, and equestrian sports. I’m excited to help you build fluency and confidence in Luxembourgish! Beginners are welcomed :)

The teacher is nice and patient, and this is her 8th lesson on italki, so I am sure she will improve. However I was able to notice several mistakes in the learning material (according to a native luxembourgish friend) - or perhaps the teacher speaks a regional dialect? At some points her teaching material deviates from the Textbook she claims to use (for example the teacher claimed "Gudde Moies" is how you greet people with "Good morning", instead of "Gudde Moien", as written in the textbook, and as told to me by my luxembourgish friend. Several verb conjugations were not correct (according to the textbook - for example the teacher claimed "Wou wunns Dir", whereas it should be "Wou wunns du", or "Wou wunnt Dir"). Her pronounciation was inconsistent. The lesson consisted of essentially her going through a large list of various rules, and I was only asked to do an exercise one time. I just sat there and listened. But she did say further lessons would be different.
