My name is Andrea and I am from the United States. Languages are my passion. I have spent the past several years teaching English, both online and in the classroom. I have lived in China and Indonesia, and I am currently living in Mexico. I study the local language in each country I visit, so I am familiar with the challenges that learners face. In the future, I hope to move to Brazil to share my language and culture, as well as study Portuguese. Learning a language can be frustrating. Especially if you feel like you’re not making progress. That’s why I make my lessons fun, interesting, and logical. I structure my lessons in a way that helps you build upon the vocabulary and grammar that you already know. I also provide resources and written transcripts to help you review. That way, you can look back and see your progress. I use scientifically proven study methods, such as spaced repetition and active recall to make our time together efficient and effective. The best way to learn a language is through comprehensible input that engages your emotions. My lessons are fun, motivating, and catered to your own personal interests. We use a variety of resources, such videos, articles, and music. The classes are also designed to get you speaking as much as possible.
