Speak Korean Confidently | Fun & Patient Native Teacher Hi! I'm Sian. I'm a native Korean speaker, and I speak both Korean and English. I've been in the field of education since 2002, and throughout my career, I've spent many years teaching and supporting students as they learn a second language. As a teacher, I like lessons to be organized, practical, and focused. Each lesson has a clear goal. We'll learn something new, practice it together, use it in conversation, and then connect it to situations you might actually experience in real life. I'm also a very visual teacher, so I use lots of images, examples, and real-life situations to make Korean easier to understand and remember. I want you to see it, understand it, and use it. We'll explore Korean food, everyday life, traditions, travel, pop culture, and all kinds of interesting things about Korea while still working toward your own goals for learning Korean. Personally, I like mukbang, and enjoy talking about K-pop and K-dramas. And please bring your questions to class! Your questions and interests can become part of our lessons. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable speaking Korean, asking questions, and making mistakes. You don't have to get everything right the first time. That's part of learning a language.
