Hi, I'm Hiro Miyamoto, a native Japanese speaker. I live in Kobe City, which is close to Osaka, and of course famous its beef. Having lived in San Francisco for two years, I can speak some English and, if you need it, I can explain concepts in English too.

I've been working with Hiro for several months now, going through Genki I and now Genki II. We usually meet twice a week, and he is fantastic - a great tutor, very patient and good at explaining grammar points that I don't get. Highly recommend!

37th class. We spent the last several lessons playing a mobile game together. I present my screen and read while Hiro-sensei corrects my readings and explains new words. It's a fun way for me to get used to reading game-font kanji which is very different that computer font. Thank Hiro-sensei for making the classes fun.

We always talk about many things and I am always able to practice how to express myself in Japanese. Hiro先生 always tries to understand me and teaches me new words and how to say what is difficult for me.
He also pays attention to my interests and my doubts.
I highly recommend his classes!
